1 Artillery piece max(wall artillery counts).
2 Pike units max.
4 Missile units max (Ranged units from missile infantry and missile cavalry tabs apply towards this total)
No Deployable allowed.
Melee infantry units from the melee infantry tab are capped at 7 of the same.
2 Max Chariots or Elephants max.
Grand Campaign factions and rosters only.
9 Tortoises per team.
Pike Stacking prohibited while the Pike Phalanx unit ability is engaged.
Pike stacking is using any unit to cover the pikemen's Sarissa/pike and soldiers from missiles and combat.
Units can briefly pass through pikes but cannot linger.
Pulling through prohibited. Chariots/Elephants can go through units on the charge.
Cavalry can go through Archers and loosely spaced units. If you pull through you are forced to disengage that unit.
Illegal use of siege equipment prohibited.
Attackers moving last second prohibited.
No abuse of game mechanics to illegally create an advantage.
LAND BATTLE RULES
WINNER OF THE LAND BATTLE CHOOSES ATTACK OR DEFENCE ON THE THIRD MAP. UNITS RULES ARE THE SAME AS SIEGE RULES APART FROM THESE TWO NOTABLE CHANGES:

A disconnection can happen to anyone.
A game can be restarted as long as the disconnect happened before 15 minutes in game have passed.
If a DC occurs after 15 minutes the battle must continue. 2 Disconnects allowed per team.
- $500 (denarii) penalty for first disconnection,
- $750 (denarii) penalty for the second.
All disconnects will be looked into by referees and admins.
After Battle Rules
Once the battle is over both teams need to save the replay and send it to an Admin.
Failure to maintain appropriate sportsmanlike conduct in and after matches can result in personal and team disqualification.
If you feel that a team/Player/Referee cheated you can report it to an admin and it will be investigated. (WARNING: If you cheat you will forever be banned from any future tournaments, remember this is supposed to be fun and Rome 2 is hardly balanced not everything is going to be fair.
